• Juvéderm SKINVIVE is the newest addition to the Juvéderm family, designed to improve skin smoothness and hydration in the cheeks. Unlike traditional fillers that add volume or smooth specific lines, SkinVive is a microdroplet injectable that works beneath the skin's surface to enhance overall skin quality, providing a subtle glow and improved texture for up to six months.

What Causes the Skin to Age?

The Juvéderm Treatment Experience

Juvéderm treatments are performed by our experienced Certified Nurse Injector in a comfortable office setting. The procedure typically takes 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the number of areas being treated. Before treatment begins, a thorough consultation is conducted to understand your aesthetic goals and evaluate your facial anatomy. We'll discuss which Juvéderm products will best address your specific concerns and create a customized treatment plan.

The injection process involves using a very fine needle or cannula to carefully place the filler beneath your skin in targeted areas. Most Juvéderm products contain lidocaine, a local anesthetic, which helps minimize discomfort during injection. Many patients describe the sensation as mild pressure or a brief pinch. Results are visible immediately, though some initial swelling may temporarily enhance the effect. Final results become apparent within one to two weeks as any swelling subsides and the filler settles into place.

Recovery from Juvéderm is minimal, with most patients returning to normal activities immediately following treatment. You may experience mild swelling, redness, tenderness, bruising, or firmness at the injection sites, but these effects are typically mild and resolve within a few days.
