As one of the few female plastic surgeons in Oklahoma, Dr. Schiesel offers a unique perspective and personalized approach that sets our practice apart. She graduated from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine at the top of her class and completed her Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Traci
Office Manager / Registered Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist
Registered medical assistant and phlebotomist, Traci Holmes, is Dr. Schiesel’s office manager and assistant. She has worked with Dr. Schiesel since 2018. As one of our patients’ first points of contact, Traci is responsible for recording medical histories, taking vitals, and assisting Dr. Schiesel in both administrative duties and patient care. A former cosmetologist, Traci has also worked in primary care.

About Traci
Born and raised in Coweta, Traci graduated at the top of her class with Honors from Platt College in 2009. Before joining the team at South Tulsa Plastic Surgery, she worked as a medical assistant and phlebotomist in primary care, and as a cosmetologist. Her passion, care, and thoughtfulness are evident in her each interaction and she loves welcoming patients, both new and established, and helping each of them achieve their aesthetic goals.
Traci has been married to her husband since 2004 and is mother to two adult children who spend as much time as they can together. An active and involved parent, Traci can reliably be found playing pickleball, fishing, or going on vacation.
Marissa, RN, MSN
Marissa Brooks, RN, MSN is a dual-specialty perioperative nurse and aesthetic injector who combines clinical expertise and an artistic eye with a warm, patient-centered approach to care. With over a decade of experience in plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine, she is passionate about helping patients feel confident, comfortable, and like the best version of themselves while prioritizing safety and natural results.
Marissa was the first nurse in Oklahoma to earn the Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist (CANS) credential. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Oklahoma and both her Master of Science in Nursing Education and Bachelor of Business Administration from Northeastern State University. Before becoming a nurse, she worked as a licensed cosmetologist, which helped shape her love for aesthetics and patient confidence.
Outside of work, Marissa enjoys traveling, reading, creative projects, and spending time with family.
Meghan
Director of Nursing
Meghan is our Director of Nursing for the surgery center with 16 years of experience in the operating room. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Oklahoma in 2009 and went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Administration/Management in 2017. Her background combines extensive clinical expertise with strong leadership and operational management skills, allowing her to contribute both at the bedside and within healthcare administration.
Outside of her career, she is a proud mom where you will always see her and her husband on the sidelines of a game or in an audience cheering on their son and soaking in every moment. She is a pickleball enthusiast where she enjoys time on the court both recreationally and competitively. She also likes to spend time relaxing with her family, two dogs Alvin and Zellie, and friends. She especially loves trips to the ocean where she recharges and makes lasting memories with her family. Balancing her professional life with family and fun keeps her grounded and inspired.
Lana
Lana is currently studying nursing at TCC while gaining hands-on experience in an office setting, where she answers phones, provides customer quotes, and assists with daily operations. She enjoys helping others and is always eager to learn new skills.
Outside of work and school, Lana spends time with her three dogs — Libby, Gizmo, and Hank. She also enjoys baking sweet treats for family and friends in her free time.
Lalie
Karli
Karli was born and raised in Utah before spending several years in North Carolina and eventually settling in Tulsa, Oklahoma with her family. She enjoys connecting with patients and helping create a welcoming, positive experience from the moment they walk through the door.
Outside of the office, Karli is a proud mom of three and stays busy with family life. Her husband works as an emergency room physician, so she has a deep appreciation for the healthcare field and the people who work in it. In addition to her role at the practice, Karli is also a licensed realtor in the Tulsa area.
When she isn’t working, she loves reading, especially fantasy novels like the Harry Potter series, and enjoys traveling with her family, particularly on Disney Cruise Line vacations.
Karli loves helping patients feel comfortable and cared for and is happy to assist with scheduling, questions, and making each visit a great experience.
Tracy
Tracy is a highly skilled Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with over 22 years in the field. A graduate of Tulsa Technology center in 2004, she spent the first 8 years as an integral member of the St John heart team, focusing on cardiovascular surgeries and providing expert assistance in complex, life saving procedures. Building on that strong foundation, Tracy went on to gain 14 years of specialized experience in CST and First Assisting within plastic surgery. Known for precision, dedication, and a calm presence in high-pressure situations, Tracy continues to enhance her expertise, always striving for excellence in providing the highest level of surgical care to every patient.
Outside of work, Tracy is a lifelong animal lover, with a special connection to dogs and horses. She appreciates the joy, loyalty, and peace they bring to her life. Passionate about rescue, she contributes through transport, donation, and volunteering. She also has a great love for music and attending concerts. In moments of downtime, Tracy values family, friends, relaxation, and enjoying the little things that bring happiness.
Janet
Janet is a highly experienced Registered Nurse with a multi state license based in Oklahoma. She began her nursing career after earning her Associate of Science in Nursing from Elizabethtown Community College in Kentucky, an affiliate of the University of Kentucky. After moving to Oklahoma, she continued her education at Rhema Bible Training Center, completing a program focused on Missions.
With more than twenty years of clinical experience, Janet has cared for patients across a wide range of specialties. She spent over a decade at St. John’s Hospital, serving in Cardiac, Step Down, and PACU units. She then dedicated more than ten years to the Cancer Treatment Centers of America, supporting oncology patients in a perioperative setting. Following the closure of CTCA Tulsa, she continued her work at Oklahoma State University Medical Center in Pre Op, Holding, and Recovery.
Committed to Your Comfort and Safety, Janet joined South Tulsa Plastic Surgery in November 2024 as a perioperative nurse. She is passionate about helping patients feel safe, supported, and confident as they prepare for life changing plastic surgery procedures. Her top priority is creating a positive, reassuring environment for every patient she cares for.
A Life Rooted in Wellness outside of work, Janet is a proud mother, grandmother, and wife. She enjoys hiking, running, and gardening, and she focuses on maintaining an active, healthy lifestyle.
